I've just bought a CEC Transport TL-1X, which should be delivered this morning by U.P.S. After it has warmed up to room temperature, which will take a few hours, I'll be able to hear it sing.

I asked him: “Would it be possible to obtain a list of the electronic components, and is there a Service Manual where you can obtain the values of the settings to be made after the transformations for the controls?
I didn't get an answer, but I'm wondering if I did the right thing. As for the mechanical part, I didn't understand everything about the axis and the plastic guide. Otherwise, what is the material of the bottom stop where the ball rests? I was thinking of using a ground, hardened steel pad with a mirror-like surface, but the material used here is probably more suitable.

As for the use of this CEC TL-1X, should I leave it on or turn it off after listening? If the latter, how long does it need to warm up to deliver the best sound?

Of course, I'm on the lookout for anything to do with this device, and I'd be delighted to read your comments and suggestions for improving the listening experience for the whole family.

I can't help with all those questions, but I can point out that some of the Nichicon series's of caps like the KG and others are no longer in production, so not sure if those Fine Gold ones in the pic are made now.

 

I'd get the parts list as soon as you can to search out what you need if duplicating that upgrade exactly as it is.

This drive will have for converter a device of the same generation that I was lucky enough to find. It's the len Wadia Digimaster X -64.4. Both devices are equipped with AT/ST jacks, so I bought a Glass fiber to compare with the coaxial link.
