crisis Posted November 5, 2024 Posted November 5, 2024 as opposed to Devo the band. I recently bought a Primare I35 from a member and have been enjoying it immensely. He proved it with a Isotech cable and when setting up intitially I found it a bit temperamental as far as powering up. I jiggled the cable and it eventually worked. It has worked ever since and sounds excellent. Tonight I moved my equipment and unplugged the amp. This time when I plugged it back in it refused to turn on. It will go into standby from the main switch but will not turn on from remote or the button on the front panel. I have had fairly good results buying form stereonet members but I am suspicious of this amp now. Perhaps it operated perfectly for the seller? Ill never know. But I have now had to contact Primare to see if I can get it serviced.
metal beat Posted November 5, 2024 Posted November 5, 2024 Have you tried a different power cable? It could be very easily the power cable is faulty.

David A Posted November 5, 2024 Posted November 5, 2024 (edited) I hope Primare "whip it (your amp) into shape" soon Edited November 5, 2024 by David A 1
crisis Posted November 8, 2024 Author Posted November 8, 2024 Well Primare recommended unplugging all other components and seeing if it would work. Cool. Didn't so Ive taken it into Complete Electronics who fixed my CD player. Apparently they will look at it in about 30 days... No music over Christmas for me then.
