surprisetech Posted December 21, 2024 Posted December 21, 2024 Hoping someone can help me out with a copy of the installation disk or latest Windows drivers for a Musiland Monitor 03. I'm running Windows 7 on the laptop that it would mostly be used on and Windows 10 on another. I believe there is version 14.2.8.950 dated 2016-12-01 that supports this model and some later models of the product, but I can't find anywhere to download it from. It's a little external sound card that I picked up 2nd hand to use in my PA system, assuming Windows would have a compatible driver, but it doesn't appear to be so. There doesn't seem to be a manufacturer website for Musiland or DIYEden any more.
surprisetech Posted February 10 Author Posted February 10 Problem solved. The device's USB connection is a V3 Type B connector. i.e. The one with the extra section at the top that provides 5 additional pins. I was only using a standard USB A to USB B cable which was not providing enough connections, so only one part of the device's circuitry was being detected. This is the first device I have had with this connector and buying it 2nd-hand, it didn't come with its original USB cable. I purchased a USB V3 A to B cable on Friday. Connected it up and the PC recognized the device straight away. 1
Niekos Posted February 13 Posted February 13 I have the same device, bought many years ago. Maybe I still have some drivers if you still need them?

Thanks, that would be great if you can dig them up. The only drivers I got my hands on are very old and I'm still having trouble getting an output from the headphone socket.
