Laying floor standing speaker on its side

Can I lay a floor standing speaker on its side.

I have read you can't as there designed to be positioned vertically.

If that is the case the speaker is question layout is woofer tweeter woofer.

Would that make it fine?

Or can you simply rotate all the drivers 90°
