Hi everyone,

This week I started the calibration for DIRAC on my NAD T758V3i receiver.

The stereo listening sounds much better with Dirac on.
But I use the receiver also for about 50% for surround between the NAD software and DIRAC. And there starts my problem.
1. When I switch the receiver on and I want to listen in stereo with DIRAC, I have to change the speaker configuration each time (delete the middle and surround speakers because of the DIRAC configuration). This is annoying - switching on each time tv and OSD...
2. I also configured DIRAC for surround but when I send it to the NAD, it seems to overwrite the previous configuration. So it doesn't accept 3 configurations as specified in DIRAC.

As I am just starting with DIRAC, I am a newbie on this matter and new ideas or solutions are always welcome!

When you reach this step, you need to select one of profiles, give it a name and export.

select one of profiles, give

I did select the second slot (I used the first slot for my previously exported stereo configuration) named it and exported it. But when I want to use it on the Nad, the 1st one had disappeared...

Maybe your unit is faulty? Suggest contacting NAD and your retailer.

*** And try factory reset ?

I think it is caused by a wrong configuration on the NAD. I read about the presets on the NAD. This could be the source of the problem. I will look further into it.
But thanks for your reply Snoop!

Sounds like you are loading two speaker configurations (stereo and surround) one after the other, yes this will overwrite the first.

the 3 curve slots are for eq of the current speaker configuration only, you can’t load two configurations at the same time.

Try loading the surround Dirac and choose stereo listening within the nad settings to give you 2ch.

Yes so far I came to the same conclusion. But I want to look further into this issue and see whether I can have the two configurations without exporting the other file when I want to use dirac with surround.

This app is only available for older versions of Android. Furthermore it is not promoted by NAD. I will have to look elsewhere...

That’s a shame, yeh the nad version is shite, third party app was much better, anyway it’s a nice to have not a necessity.
