From the sl1p specs:

They would have built it using a Pi3 Model B+ , upside down in one of the photos.  That pi3 has the same processor as the sl1p:

Broadcom BCM2837B0, Cortex-A53 (ARMv8) 64-bit SoC @ 1.4GHz

 

And added lots of stuff including S/PDIF hat,  support for SSD etc supported by 2nd processor.

So, another streamer based on an rPi or similar board.  Not knocking it - it's a good choice.  Nice setup, good looking piece of equipment.
