drummerboy01 Posted March 14 Posted March 14 Paul has always been a workhorse even in the Beatles. Was always the one to get things moving. Asking him to retire is not something he would understand and most likely ever do. He has been doing it far too long and likes it too much. It’s what he does and is darn good at it. Probably the best to ever do it. When he is gone there will be a huge hole in the music industry regardless of what people think.. He and the Beatles inspired generations of Muso’s unlike any other act.

It's funny because I thought he was too old to do live shows for many, many years, but the people I've met who have seen him live rave about him. In fact, one close mate who comes to mind has been going to big shows for decades, and we've been to a few together, and he rates Paul as the best he's seen. He saw Paul overseas, but when Paul toured Australia my mate kept telling me to get along and see him. I think Paul's earnt to right to do as he pleases simply because he's one of the best in his craft that the world has seen. For the record, I'm not a Paul music fan, nor really the Beatles for that matter. I like one of their albums, but credit where credit's due. 1
