Huge difference in tech compared to FSD with Tesla.  
They are known to be involved in accidents that’s not their fault.    
similar tech in China where a child can order her ride via a phone app and get to go any destination with there grandparents.  Not as silly to rely on one type of sensor.  
Note that the Waymo maps its surroundings using LIDAR, radar, Camera, and audio receivers, unlike some that rely on cameras only,  huge difference in tech utilisation to minimise risks

impressive but some of the cockups with cars all converging on the one parking place and others blocking roads shows they have a long way to come still.
