OJJ Posted Wednesday at 06:35 AM Posted Wednesday at 06:35 AM I have a Rega P1 'Performance Pack' turntable (which has an upgraded Rega cartridge, drive belt and mat compared to the standard model.) A friend also has one, but has upgraded to the glass platter as per the P2 and P3. Apparently its a simple swap over, and he managed to pick one up on Ebay for around $70. I'm just wondering if someone can advise me whether or not its a worthwhile upgrade, or if I should simply upgrade to a P3? Appreciate any help. 1
Spinspin69 Posted Wednesday at 06:47 AM Posted Wednesday at 06:47 AM Better still save for a P6. Not much more than the P3 and you'll end up getting a neo psu, etc for the P3 anyway... i went from p2 to p3 with upgrades (that made as near a p6 as you could get) and it was a big improvement... 1

You'll never need another turntable... but it is the complete opposite of the Rega range at nearly 27Kg...
