Mr_Gadget Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago (edited) Hi, I'm looking at getting something to improve both the tv audio and music listening in my living room with ease of use being important. Currently tv audio is just from the built in speakers (Sony ZD9) and music is from a google nest wifi point. Not sure whether a soundbar or perhaps a pair of powered speakers are the way to go. Not really interested in side/rear speakers so a 2.1 system should suffice (possibly buy a sub at a later date). With the family in mind it would be good if whatever product I get can handle voice commands. Currently we say ' Hey Google play music', and the nest wifi point plays Spotify. Also having physical controls or even a remote to adjust volume etc instead of an app would be preferable. Not sure on budget but decent soundbars seems to start around $1k so perhaps give or take a few hundred dollars from there.
