Grimmie Posted yesterday at 03:44 AM Posted yesterday at 03:44 AM (edited) I have a small Yamaha sub-woofer that I (used to) use for TV sound but alas the dreaded rubber rot has made it kaput. Is it worth replacing the surround or maybe best to look for a driver as drop-in replacement to ensure quality. Any suggestions welcome, though preferably not chuck it as it is reasonably effective in its role. Edited 23 hours ago by Grimmie
Grimmie Posted 14 hours ago Author Posted 14 hours ago Maybe this from Temu, though four ohm won't suit the plate amp (8ohm existing driver) Or this from Ali Express. 8ohm 140W Or then again maybe just this. I'm worried that the result of my using this is may not be - optimal but then again (again?) maybe the cheap-ish old subby isn't really worth a seventy to eighty dollar driver.
