My own fault I know, too many years of all work & no play had me missing quite a lot, fortunately I've been able to play catch-up. Agree they are exceptional, haven't got the Classic ITTOD though, stupid prices & my AU press doesn't sound that bad.

me too.  I only own the first 6.  That is Led Zep at their peak for me.

I only own the first 6 too. Only one Classic release though, and that is LZ II. It cost me $60, and that was about 8 or 9 years ago.

If indeed these turn out to be digital releases that sound pretty decent (according to public opinion), I will then buy standard versions of I and III.

If they turn out to be analogue sourced reissues I would buy all of them. :)

Does anyone know if there are USA & EU pressings of these? I am trying to work out which Amazon to order from (.com or.co.uk), & I remember quite a few people said to stay away from The Beatles US pressing box set & grab the Euro one?

As far as I know they are all being pressed at the Pallas plant in Europe.

Does anyone know for sure if the US and Euro are the same ?

I happen to have an Original Original pressing of Led Zepplin II album...everything is in mint condition.

I played it only once and it's perfect.

Any ideas on value?

Aussie pressing.  It is not an original Aussie pressing. They were done by Festival records.

WEA first pressing was 1970 .  you will need to check the cat no.  Not worth a lot it seems.

The original Australian pressing was indeed made by Festival for Atlantic. I have one, and it happens to sound excellent.

I don't know. Tony Barber must be some Australian cultural reference that i'm afraid has gone over my head.

Tony Barber was the Aussie Sinatra...

See here for proof:

He then went on to hose Sale of the Century...
