April Snow Posted January 23 Posted January 23 @keyse1 I agree 100% with all your comments. The Woody thing made me feel super sad too - it was quite confronting. "Johnny Cash" made me laugh. Bob was horrible to women & I am glad they did not sugar coat it and also glad that Bob himself was happy to have that in the script when the director went through it with him. Timothy did a fantastic job portraying Bob - but yeah.........no soundtrack purchase here either 2

keyse1 Posted January 24 Author Posted January 24 Song about Dave Van Ronk by Tom Russell Really does capture that scene from the perspective of a very young folkie 1

Yeah, I know Totally get this, I am 100% sure I will get more out of it and enjoy it more at home on the big Teeeee Veeee and through the system too. My workmate went to see this on the weekend, she said she did not like it but she is not a Dylan fan either. I think unlike the Elton and Queen one, this one will not be for everybody 1

Had the cinema to ourselves - She loved it, gee Bob was so cool and really good I really enjoyed it for what it was, no, I loved it!! It really took me back to a time when we thought things could not any worse - alas Just listening to Freewheeling Bob, could be a Bobfest tonight. hired goon Posted April 10 Posted April 10 (edited) I watched "A Complete Unknown" on Hulu on the weekend. Takes a few liberties but impressed by young Timothy's portrayal of His Bobness, both acting and the singing/guitar strumming. Bonus points for including my fave Dylan tune "It's All Over Now Baby Blue". Will definitely watch again someday. --Geoff Edited April 10 by hired goon 2 1
