Cheers, Keith Thank Keith, good to know. What will local postage be? I haven't decided if I am going to purchase the box, waiting to read reviews before committing.

Hi Arthur, Postage cost will depend on what part of the country you're in and the weight of the box set, but you could work on between $10 - $15, with Victoria being on the cheaper end of that range. Edit: I've spoken to Dale and she will cap the postage at $10.00 for StereoNET members, so your price will be $455.00 inclusive of postage. Cheers, Keith Edited September 4, 2014 by cheekyboy 2

metal beat Posted September 7, 2014 Author Posted September 7, 2014 I should not read SH forum seems that everyone's boxes are shipping except for Amazon CA. - getting a bit of envy - waited 50 years for a mono pressing of The Beatles, a couple more weeks I guess I can handle. Price you pay I guess for teh cheapest Amazon price - = slowest packing and shipping out time anyone box shipped or like Mack picking up locally.

David.M Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 On the plus side Amazon has the best return/replacement policy in the business, touch wood we won't need to use it but it is a big boxset. I'll be interested to see if I get any benefit from the extra for International Courier shipping over you guys with expedited (mine still showing pre-order).

hyper Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 $335 is a great price- $120 freight is robbery. Yeh I know , thought others would be the same then saw you got yours for basically nothing! Didn't even know amazon delivered to oz, as I had gone their before for other items and said won't ship

Didn't even know amazon delivered to oz, as I had gone their before for other items and said won't ship Yea, amazon made a mistake at the beginning of pre orders. They do that a lot. INXS 10lp box set is coming in for £3. Amazon won't ship a lot of electronics. Music and DVD's - all their sites ship them.

Didn't even know amazon delivered to oz, as I had gone their before for other items and said won't ship There are a lot of shops that sell through Amazon, with Amazon acting as their agent. Most of those entities will not ship to Australia although Amazon themselves will. The item description will say whether it is an Amazon item or a 3rd party item. 1

J Carr of Lyra recommends this as a cheap option. less than $360 Beat, I'm in two minds about mono carts, I've only actually heard a mono cart on old 40s pressings when they had U shaped grooves on the pressings and I noticed a huge difference from a stereo cart, (mono by far the stand out) but I never have listen to mono cart on >50s press when they shelved the U grooves, so don't know, do they make a big difference??
