Show us your best mate!!

Here is my little foxy *****, Belle.

As is usually the case, she picked me. She was a gift from a daughters boyfriend to her, maybe six years ago.

The daughter was going through a bit of a rough time, moving between me and Mum. Anyhow, she moved away with Belle and Belle did not like it and fretted big time (unbeknown to me) until she was returned. The daughter pulled up and opened the car door and a little dog shot out and leapt up into my arms, much to my surprise. For better or worse, she has been my little companion ever since.

I also had a foxy (Spot, of course) from when I was two until I was 18. Maybe she sensed a soft spot in me, pardon the pun.

The OPs story is not that uncommon. My mothers dog has often begged me to take him with me when I leave at the end of a visit. He likes her just fine but he loves to hang with blokes. It's a pack thing.

This is a dog thread so the cats will need to get their own, but in the fetching stakes there can be more similarities than differences. Cat here on the left of screen saw me at my laptop selecting some tunes to play last night. Dropped a paper clip in my hand to get my attention. Wanted to play fetch, either that or he was suggesting i should be organising paperwork. I think the former, he's always up for a game of fetch as long as it involves lots of attention on him.

Here are some shots of our two. They're 4 now. Maia (white blaze) and Zeus. I'll try to contain the photos :D

^ Love the 3rd and 4th photos.

Very professional studio like.

What's with the grid shadow in the last one?

Are they behind a wire fence?

Looks odd.

LOL, never noticed that before! Its a shadow from the fence (photo taken early one morning)

Yep, we have black wire fencing....well sort of, on that side of the house we're growing/have grown a star jasmine hedge. We've got Viburnum around the rest of the house.

Whippets are so cute.

Although they always look cold and guilty of something.

Received a recommendation from Satan himself and have since upgraded to one of these.

The Reference 1's are safe for now.
