evil c Posted May 8, 2020 Author Posted May 8, 2020 (edited) One of the family favorites, Pad Kee Mao or Drunken Chicken. Uses fresh wide rice noodles with vegetables of your choice. Sauce consists of: 1 .5tbs Oyster Sauce,1 tbsp light Soy sauce, 1.5tbs Kecap Manis or Sweet dark Soy,1 tbs Fish sauce, 1 tbs Palm Sugar, 1 tbs Lime juice and 1/2 tbs Rice wine Vinegar. Add together in small jug and stir. Fry up in wok lightly salted 450g Chicken Breast sliced thinly in batches for a few mins till cooked through. Set aside. Fry up in wok 2 cloves of garlic, 1 small Onion, 1/2 red Capsicum, diced carrot, 1 red chilli, and any other veges you might like. Microwave fresh Rice noodles for around 2 minutes, then carefully separate from each other. Toss Chicken back in wok, add rice noodles and pour over Sauce mixture . Add 1 cup of fresh Thai Basil and toss through. Serve with a good Marlborough Pinot Gris or Gewurtztraminer. Garnish with Thai Basil and chilli if required. Edited May 8, 2020 by evil c 6

Assisi Posted May 28, 2020 Posted May 28, 2020 I have just finished making gnocchi. Possibly the best I have ever made. Little pillows of soft pleasure. There is an art to making gnocchi. I keep trying. The meat sauce has been slow cooking for over a day on the induction. They will both come together tomorrow night. Looking forward to the meal. John 1
