another hot hatch ev. this one is the Hyundai Insteroid... this is just the concept... and quite cartoon like and crazy as concepts are ...but yes Hyundai is keep to follow on in electric something like the i20n... 

 

 

and yes its closely related to the RN24 prototype that recently got a showing... 

 

 

 

as with any of these concepts and prototypes what will be interesting as to what actually transpires into production ...

the tax  cuts that spurred on PHEV - plug in hybrid EV sales has come to an end this month...

we probably wont know for a little while whether that will hamper future phev sales...especialy given there have been a few makers jumping on board bringing cars in to take advantage of the tax benefits...

looks like march was a bit of a rebound ? even with tesla tanking in sales(53% down for march and 60% down for first quarter).

BEV are 7.5% of sales if add in PHEV its 14.25% of total market. though hphev sales are likely artificially boosted as its their last month of FBT exemption... be interesting how they go after that....

last year this time was 9.5%  ut that was also boosted by a big month of model Y.. that might still come as model Y update... is released here

the under $50k kia ev3 has landed...kia is doing very well with its sales in their ev5 .... thats no 4 in ev sales and kia is expecting the ev3 to do similarly well !
