GaryT Posted June 20, 2024 Posted June 20, 2024 Some people will talk down bands like Babymetal, and all those other experimental "fun" metal acts and pop-metal crossovers, (I throw in projects like Electric Callboy, Poppy, I guess Polyphia too) hell even Ghost get thrown in there. But these bands are pushing Metal in totally new directions, packing stadiums worldwide and i think that's cool as hell despite what some narrow minded people will say. 2
08Boss302 Posted June 22, 2024 Posted June 22, 2024 (edited) Always really liked this album. The whole Tony Martin era sadly out of most people's chat and it's so bloody good. The Eternal Idol my personal fav then this. Sadly The Eternal Idol not in this boxset set due to label issues. Thankfully my old faithful cds of them all are still in great order. The live CD/VHS Live Cross Purposes boxset is excellent, 14 tracks, not the normal "juke box" live set and Sabbath maybe at their least popular period but playing like monsters. Tony never stopped writing insanely great riffs Edited June 22, 2024 by 08Boss302 Spelling 4

08Boss302 Posted June 28, 2024 Posted June 28, 2024 Awesome Melbourne metal group. Those of us that around the Australian metal scene of yesterday and "of age" will recognise the members of this band and their history with prominent local old school metal props in their resumes... This is the 1st release, can't believe over 10yrs old....2nd release a gem too 2 1
08Boss302 Posted June 28, 2024 Posted June 28, 2024 IMO always the premier Swedish Death Metal band. This their final superb offering. 1
