Time for some Doom !

Crushing opening track on this album.

New album in the works (and vinyl reissues of their first 2)

Car trip today, we listened to Coffins - The Fleshland. Awesome Japanese sludgy death... Not for those opposed to "Cookie Monster" vocals

******* Sin-Predator.

Not the best of the NWOBHM bands but if I still had hair and wasn't concerned about hurting my neck I might have done the odd bit of headbanging.

Nice textured sleeve and Rodney Matthews artwork, not bad considering that Heavy Metal Record's budget was probably a couple of hundred quid.

A new find for me...finding it intriguing and a great listen. I think Parkway Drive 'Ire' might be next!post-104280-0-42838000-1443695032_thumb.

By the way, am I disqualified from posting here if this is not a vinyl version??

The first release on the iconic Heavy metal records label.

From 1980 !

I saw the Handsome Beasts play a few times back in the day as they were locals and they were good in clubs  but could never get their sound and excitement down on tape in a studio. If anything they sounded pretty rubbish when recorded. i've got some early Diamond Head singles recorded at The Old Smithy in Worcester that are the same and they sound dull, flat and nothing special at all.

I guess I can put this in metal.

A Place to Bury Strangers - Worship.   If you like Jesus & Mary Chain, Sisters of Mercy with more noise and darkness, you will like this.     Really dig this band

Amps back in action, 2 internal fuses decided to let go for some reason in a most unspectacular fashion (l.e. No BM blast beats @ 110db's) just went while flipping sides on a Sade album...lol \m/

Got t running with the lid off as the fuses I replaced are only 4amp instead of 5 so need to grab some today. Looks cool inside though with the biggest toroidal transformer I've ever seen!

Dropped into Sanity and grabbed Disturbed's Indestructible and the Audioslave album for $15 ea.

Daz, what are you doing man!? ;) Sanity has always been a rip-off, case in point, $15 for Audiosalve as awesome as it is a a bit rich..

Hey do you scan the local Crime Converters? Admittedly not been for a while but could always find plenty of gems, \m/ included, scored the1st three Metalli-******-Ca CDs for a coupe bucks each :thumb:
