likwidsh0k Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 Love the Kyuss, even with someone in their ranks serious personal inadequacies issues 1

likwidsh0k Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 What is this "black album" of which you speak?? 2

likwidsh0k Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 Must say I do like Sandman mainly because it was an anthem and memories of certain time in my life, and Unforgiven, and Nothing Else Matters, but the rest I honestly can't sit through. 1
koputai Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 Justice was the start of the rot, nothing to listen to from there on........ except for Garage Inc, which was a ripper. Cheers, Jason. 2

Reverend Johnny Heathen Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 I prefer to think it was the end of the great, pre-rot phase. You're probably right - I loved Justice as a kid but the very thought of those 11 minute epics is just too much for me to bare now. On a completely unrelated related note - I keep hearing lots of Use Your Illusion era GNR on the radio atm - what was it that made them think every song had to warble on for half an hour!!?? And the false finishes... Just when you think it's over - nope, another 6 minute reprise. Dreadful stuff. ...had to get that off my chest. 1

There's a song in one of those called (I think) My World that is one of the most self-indulgent, vomit inducing songs I've ever heard. 1

There's a song in one of those called (I think) My World that is one of the most self-indulgent, vomit inducing songs I've ever heard. Yuhhh... I remember that one. What about Get In The Ring? ...On the contrary, 'Appetite' has some great tracks that really hold up all these years later. The main riff for Mr. Brownstone is killer. Bought the Back To Black 'Appetite' reissue a few years back... Think I listened to it once too! 2

Jeffro Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 Really? Each to their own of course .......... I wouldn't have thought any metal fan would not like the Priest but there you go.
