erest Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 (edited) Item: YAMAHA NS-70T speaker pair. VERY RARE!!!! Location: Keysborough VIC Price: $470 Firm Item condition: Excellent sonically. Not as good cosmetically. Reason for selling: Too many speakers. Payment method: COD. Direct banking. Extra info: Bought these rare speakers a while back with all drivers in perfect condition. These run Titanium midrange and tweeters, with 10" woofers. Sound wise, they do not lose much to the coveted NS1000/M. Very clear, clean, airy mids and highs, and great bass, and speed. They have some dampness/mildew marks in the veneer sides. One side of each speaker. I re-oiled the cabinets, and now looking presentable...sort of. Grilles OK. Work well on 450 high stands. Checked the crossovers, and replaced 4 out of tolerance capacitors, and now sound as they should. Fitted binding posts at the same time. Size wise, exactly the same footprint as the NS1000, but 45mm shorter. Same great workmanship, but a bit lighter cabinets. I had the 670s and the 690s, and in my opinion these are as good or better...,and are a mirror image for better imaging. Will NOT post these. For local pickup only. Sizes: 630H x 370W x 310D with grilles. Will audition for serious SNAers only. Edited April 8, 2015 by erest 1
