wondering if the original design spec was for some desk top studio monitor speakers and designer just couldn't hold back :D once you got one.. i suppose you'd want a stereo pair...

I loved your A.P.'s at your place Pops, really nice, a sound I could listen to and enjoy without fatigue. I'd bet these are damn good too but at an approximate price of >AU$300,000 give or take, you'd think they could afford a decent artistic designer to make them non-barfable. OK so the look is 2001 A Space Odyssey or maybe very German minimalist but... they don't even fit on the base-plates FFS!

First time I’ve noticed the bases, look really odd. I’ll let you know when I get them delivered on Friday after Powerball. 😂
