frankn Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 Kenrick Sound's uber top spec TAD unit. Why does the person look as though he is posing for gangster rapper mag? Does he think it gives the speakers "cred". It doesn't, he just looks foolishSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 4

I look like a right cretin with my Robin Trower face on.

aasza Posted May 13, 2015 Posted May 13, 2015 Those amps are insane!!! They're Burmester 909 MK5 Power Amp, a pair for monoblock use would set one back ~ AU$150,000+ Stereo: 2 x 600 W (4Ω), 2 x 1250 W (1Ω) Mono: 1x 1930 W (4Ω), 1x 3200 W (1 Ω)
betty boop Posted May 13, 2015 Posted May 13, 2015 Kenrick Sound's uber top spec TAD unit. look like a couple of sumo wrestlers !
mattd2308 Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 Some very wicked speakers here. Heard the TAD ref 1's at the Melb hifi show couple of years ago. Andrew Jones was demoing them. Mind you he was streaming music through them. Put in a request for "School" by Supertramp and he did! Streamed at the best rate he was able to garner. Jeez, it sounded brilliant. Once it concluded myself and my older brothers applauded what we had just heard. 33k at the time they were worth.Noice!!!!
