I wouldn't mind the new Canton Reference K series and the Audionet gear to go with it.

Yes the new Canton reference series look great and review rate them, but nowhere to listen to them in Oz. Distributor can order them though.

No testing is a sure fire way to get 0 sales

Excluding the Wilson, Sonus Faber and Focal examples, is this thread a collection of the worlds ugliest or gaudiest speakers?

Just asking.

I would move house if I had to look at most of those designs in my living space.

Either that or wear a blindfold whilst you are listening. That would be a nightmare for the objectivists, wouldn't it?

Or a bag over your head. Some of those designs are double-baggers, the speakers need a paper bag over them too.

JBL Paragon 1957-1983

Ridiculously expensive at the time. A bit over $US 1800.00 at the time - was around the most expensive speaker made for the era.  But the sound was just sublime.  I remember listening to one at one of the early Sydney Hi Fi shows held at the Koala Motor Inn on Oxford Street back in the early 1970's.

Having heard these a few times now i would have them in a heart beat if funds allowed.

However if i had that sort of coin the b&w nautilus snails would also be hard to go past.

Loved every second i spent listening to those babies fed via a full dcs stack digital front end
