vmhf Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 (edited) Item: Tannoy Mercury M1 Cherry in shoddy condition! Location: SydneyPrice: $20 which will be donated in its entirety to SNA. SOLD.Item Condition: Shoddy!Reason for selling: Purchased on ebay out of curiosity. But have Linn Kans and Rogers LS3/5A so need my head checked!Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD OnlyExtra Info: I just saw these on ebay a few months ago and put in a bid of $120 or so and won! Didn't really pay any attention to the listing photos which were blurry anyway and the description said in excellent shape! When they arrived they were in pretty shoddy shape with dented edges, veneer peeling and mouldy drivers! They worked fine in my system and sounded ok so just let it go. Then a few days ago one speaker started cutting out. I realised that one of the speaker terminals as shown in the picture was broken. This is a simple repair for someone who can be bothered but that is not me. Up for grabs for just $20 which I will donate to SNA. Can post Australia wide in the box that the ebay seller sent me that is in better shape than the speakers!Pictures: Edited August 11, 2015 by vmhf 3

Stevesie Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 (edited) These are actually pretty decent sounding little speakers. Bummer about the less than accurate eBay description when you purchased them. Edited August 6, 2015 by Stevesie 1
ngquan Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 Good buy for some one, easy fix with speaker binding post if you don't mind the state of the speakers. 1
