JBL LSR32 3 way studio monitors 150W to 1000W into 4 ohms

JBL 6312SP 12" active sub with 250 W continuous output built-in power amplifier

ICON audio LA5 TX preamp with Sylvania 6SN7 bad boys and WE274B rectifier tube

Aurealis R3 silver litz interconnects with Absolute Harmony RCAs and Xadhows XLRs

Sub cable & digital interconnect - Belden 1505A with Canare RCAP-C4F

Dac - Sony professional CD recorder CDR-W66

Transport - Rotel RCD-991

Just had a listen to Craig's system.  Sounded so good I nearly missed dinner and the missus' wrath.

Still have 4429 4410A and QUAD 57s. I will have six systems to play around with.

 

They are all fantastic speakers, love them all for different reasons.

 

The LSR32 has titanium tweeters and has the classic studio sound from 1990s.

 

The 4429 has SonoGlass horn mid and titanium UHF is a later design but still extremely accurate monitor.

 

Both speakers are great performers and highly regarded in my books :thumb:
