deviltoob Posted July 2, 2019 Posted July 2, 2019 This looks so funny. And also a movie where Eisenbergs schtick looks appropriate to the story. 1

It will totally explain the reason behind the attack on the poor ‘innocent’ US no doubt. /s But seriously, all those movies look terrible. Except for The Dark Crystal. Now that is going to be rad. But how does the movie work with just the backstory of one character in a franchise? Has it ever been done before? How does it make much sense without the Bat man? Edited July 3, 2019 by deviltoob

I don't think any Star Trek movies were ever quite as good as the Star Trek The Motion Picture (1979) [VGER], however I do like the reboot series and certainly hope they aim to keep it honest and substantial and not give it a financially tempting superhero/marvel/dc_comics treatment. What should help is the fact that Picard is easily the most charismatic character in the entire franchise. One can but hope.

Well, we'll all see Joaquin Phoenix win the Oscar for Best Actor then won't we.......? Big claim......sure Phoenix can play 'unhinged' but he has his work cut out here. 1
