Sub Sonic Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 (edited) I've found that I need to take photos with the phone in the "normal" orientation, in other words, the right way up. If I invert the phone when taking the picture, it will show an inverted picture on the post even though it should have corrected itself. If I then go and edit the original by rotating it, it still often ends up upside down. It's a bit frustrating. However, if I copy someone else's pic and rotate it, it turns out fine. Hergest Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 Just out of interest, what's the weight of the Trek set up as it is?
buzz lightyear Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 @@Sub Sonic Thanks @@Hergest looking at the specs 7.68 kg, I haven't weighed the bike as yet. Huge leap from my alloy Bianchi. 1
murrmax Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 (edited) Singlified my MTB and turned it into a low maintenance commuting spinner... something that's safer than a road bike, something that can handle the crappy city roads, gutters, zombie pedestrians, loose drivers, brake hard with quick & responsive handling, go fast enough and get a good workout over short distances Decided the frame was worth keeping, has decent wheels hubs DT Swiss/Mavic but needed a few new parts, ditched the headshok forks ( got sick of spending money on servicing them way too often), and the fact don't have time to go mtbiking any more. got a rigid fork, new hydraulic brakes few bits and pieces. Weighs in at 10kg. It's a nice ride.. Edited June 22, 2016 by murrmax 6
altorus_ Posted July 19, 2016 Posted July 19, 2016 Massive bike nerd here - it's a constant balance between number of bikes in the garage and number of items in the hifi rack. The hifi is winning ever so slightly at the moment, 1

Hergest Posted August 7, 2016 Posted August 7, 2016 Hooray! Another Lynskey They're great to ride but it's always a shame to lose that brand new untouched look as no cleaning whatsoever gets a bike back to how it was when it was first built.

It's starting to do those kinds of distances that lead to the full on days with hours and hours in the saddle and increased fitness that lead to a longer and more enjoyable life. 68 km in 2 and a half hours is a very respectable pace. 1
