I've found that I need to take photos with the phone in the "normal" orientation, in other words, the right way up. If I invert the phone when taking the picture, it will show an inverted picture on the post even though it should have corrected itself. If I then go and edit the original by rotating it, it still often ends up upside down. It's a bit frustrating. However, if I copy someone else's pic and rotate it, it turns out fine.

Singlified my MTB and turned it into a low maintenance commuting spinner... something that's safer than a road bike, something that can handle the crappy city roads, gutters, zombie pedestrians, loose drivers, brake hard with quick & responsive handling, go fast enough and get a good workout over short distances

Decided the frame was worth keeping, has decent wheels hubs DT Swiss/Mavic but needed a few new parts, ditched the headshok forks ( got sick of spending money on servicing them way too often), and the fact don't have time to go mtbiking any more. got a rigid fork, new hydraulic brakes few bits and pieces. Weighs in at 10kg.

It's a nice ride..

Massive bike nerd here - it's a constant balance between number of bikes in the garage and number of items in the hifi rack.  The hifi is winning ever so slightly at the moment,

Hooray! Another Lynskey :) They're great to ride but it's always a shame to lose that brand new untouched look as no cleaning whatsoever gets a bike back to how it was when it was first built.

Nice build. Digging the H Plus Son rims. What hubs are you running?

Campag large axle Record front, Chorus rear, 32hole both, and essentially the same - the ones you can't buy any more, pre 2006, sourced from eBay over the last 2 years

I've got a stash of record fronts, but rears are impossible to find unless prepared to part with silly money

Didn't realize it was a campagmano build :). I assumed full DA seeing the cranks and didn't bother to check the shifters.

A bit like the track bike I'm selling with a campag rear and shimano front hehe.

actually all shimano 7900/6700 (other than campag axles) with a fulcrum freehub hub which fits the large axle campag rear and accepts a shimano cluster

must say the 7900 front derailleur and cranks make front chain-wheel shifting an absolute delight - can't believe the difference from earlier shimano

Oh cool good build then :). I'm not fancy enough to ride 7900. Good to hear it's going well for you

68kms this morning 2.5 hours and it nearly killed me. Depressing to get dropped by a mate doing a recovery/zone 2 ride.

It will do me good though, been a long time since I got up when the clock said 5:XX

That's great. It's starting to do those kinds of distances that lead to the full on days with hours and hours in the saddle and increased fitness that lead to a longer and more enjoyable life. 68 km in 2 and a half hours is a very respectable pace.

Nice build!

my Lynskey has been hanging on the garage wall for around 3 or 4 years now, need to find some motivation (and a Red 10 RD) to get her rolling again...

Talk about using as much of the track as possible. Riding up the hoarding to avoid a pile up during the Olympics. Respect.

@@Hergest yes on SNA strava as Pat M don't you love strava great way to keep track of improving your riding. Can't wait till daylight savings hoping to double my distance.

Yep. It took me a while to get on Strava but I'm glad I did not only to keep track of what I was doing but also as a great encouragement when you see what others are doing.
