Guest Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 Nice clean system there Steve. If it was me, I would run the speaker cables down to the floor, along the floor and then up behind the cabinet legs, just for a cleaner look.
Steved Posted February 18, 2016 Author Posted February 18, 2016 Thanks Hydrology, that's exactly what I did about a week ago. The cables showing are some I had lying around and were only 1.2m long. I made some cables out of pro DJ speaker cables cut the ends off and fitted some banana's. You are right it did clean it up. I will post a pic in an hour or so
Steved Posted February 18, 2016 Author Posted February 18, 2016 A pic with the wires hidden. I will hide the wires showing in a track when I get round to it which probably means never

shaky Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 @@Steved , appreciate it is your listening environment and not mine, but have you tried toeing the Dyns in a little towards the sweet spot. I have done that with mine and, to my amateur ears, tends to widen your soundstage a bit which gives you that 'outside the speaker' listening experience.
Steved Posted February 19, 2016 Author Posted February 19, 2016 I understand exactly what you are saying Shakey and agree. I pivot them on the stands so they are parallel for general listening, for dinning or washing up or when we have friends over. When I want to chill out and do some serious listening I toe them in for the correct imaging focusing on where I sit or should I say about 3 feet behind my head
