Atlas Cables 25th Anniversary Edition Arran Speaker Cable

To celebrate its 25th anniversary, Atlas Cables announces the Atlas Arran Transpose Speaker Grun 25th Anniversary Edition.

Only twenty-five individually numbered pairs of this silver anniversary edition of the Arran Transpose Grun loudspeaker cable will be made to order. In its standard guise, it is regarded as Atlas Cables' finest OCC copper speaker cable. Each cable will be handcrafted in Scotland and customised to your personal preferences.

The 25th Anniversary Edition is wrapped and hand-stitched in fine Caledonian Sage by Muirhead Leather, part of the world-renowned Scottish Leather Group, which has graced the seats of the House of Lords, the House of Commons, Concorde, the QE2, and the Orient Express.

Should you be in the fortunate position to claim a set, you can also choose your preferred stitching type and colour, making each pair completely bespoke.

Signature features include engraved aluminium stoppers bearing the 25th Anniversary emblem and unique serial numbers, with the option to even have your signature engraved as further personalisation.

Each pair is presented in a commemorative, laser-etched box featuring your name and accompanied by a handwritten letter of thanks and a certificate of authenticity signed by the Atlas team.

Incidentally, laser etching may well become a feature of Atlas Cables' packaging going forward. It is a much more elegant solution than sticky labels, isn't it?

Atlas Arran Transpose Speaker Grun – 25th Anniversary Edition is strictly limited to twenty-five stereo pairs worldwide at an RRP of £7,000 for 2m (minimum length) with each extra stereo metre costing £1,800. The optional baseball stitch upgrade is a further £100 per stereo metre.

applause awards

Each time StereoNET reviews a product, it is considered for an Applause Award. Winning one marks it out as a design of great quality and distinction – a special product in its class, on the grounds of either performance, value for money, or usually both.

Applause Awards are personally issued by StereoNET’s global Editor-in-Chief, David Price – who has over three decades of experience reviewing hi-fi products at the highest level – after consulting with our senior editorial team. They are not automatically given with all reviews, nor can manufacturers purchase them.

The StereoNET editorial team includes some of the world’s most experienced and respected hi-fi journalists with a vast wealth of knowledge. Some have edited popular English language hi-fi magazines, and others have been senior contributors to famous audio journals stretching back to the late 1970s. And we also employ professional IT and home theatre specialists who work at the cutting edge of today’s technology.

We believe that no other online hi-fi and home cinema resource offers such expert knowledge, so when StereoNET gives an Applause Award, it is a trustworthy hallmark of quality. Receiving such an award is the prerequisite to becoming eligible for our annual Product of the Year awards, awarded only to the finest designs in their respective categories. Buyers of hi-fi, home cinema, and headphones can be sure that a StereoNET Applause Award winner is worthy of your most serious attention.
