Audiovector Represented by Renaissance in Scotland

Renaissance adds Audiovector loudspeakers to its portfolio in Scotland.

Audiovector has chosen Renaissance as its representative in Scotland and joins MOON, VPI and Nordost, in the Scottish audio distributor's list of brands.

Audiovector has designed, developed and handcrafted its loudspeakers in Denmark for more than forty years. Its focus is to produce high-quality and natural-sounding loudspeakers. Furthermore, their sound quality is married to elegant Scandinavian design and high-end finishes, which has ensured their popularity.

Here at StereoNET, we applaud Audiovector's innovative scheme whereby owners can return their speakers for an upgrade to a higher level or replace them with a new and improved model. This scheme avoids speaker scrappage and the associated waste of materials, and it positions Audiovector as both customer-centred and an early eco-minded innovator in the industry.

The new R3 and R6 models' recent success highlights Audiovector as the manufacturer of high-end products with a sense of 'real world' about them in both design and performance. We were particularly impressed by the R3 Arreté.

Renaissance offers a comprehensive technical support service for each of the products in its carefully chosen portfolio. It also provides a swift and secure delivery service. Strong stock levels at its Edinburgh HQ and a highly developed international distribution infrastructure ensure excellent product availability.

The MD of Renaissance, John Carroll, told StereoNET:

I am delighted to add Audiovector to the Renaissance portfolio. Their loudspeakers perfectly complement VPI's turntables, Nordost's cables and accessories, and the MOON range of performance audio products. I have long been searching for a suitable loudspeaker brand to distribute, and in Audiovector, I have found a partner that matches the Renaissance vision. I am certain that Audiovector will be exceptionally well received in Scotland.

WHAT WE THINK

As fans of Audiovector and Renaissance, we congratulate both on what we hope proves to be a beneficial partnership for both sides.

applause awards

Each time StereoNET reviews a product, it is considered for an Applause Award. Winning one marks it out as a design of great quality and distinction – a special product in its class, on the grounds of either performance, value for money, or usually both.

Applause Awards are personally issued by StereoNET’s global Editor-in-Chief, David Price – who has over three decades of experience reviewing hi-fi products at the highest level – after consulting with our senior editorial team. They are not automatically given with all reviews, nor can manufacturers purchase them.

The StereoNET editorial team includes some of the world’s most experienced and respected hi-fi journalists with a vast wealth of knowledge. Some have edited popular English language hi-fi magazines, and others have been senior contributors to famous audio journals stretching back to the late 1970s. And we also employ professional IT and home theatre specialists who work at the cutting edge of today’s technology.

We believe that no other online hi-fi and home cinema resource offers such expert knowledge, so when StereoNET gives an Applause Award, it is a trustworthy hallmark of quality. Receiving such an award is the prerequisite to becoming eligible for our annual Product of the Year awards, awarded only to the finest designs in their respective categories. Buyers of hi-fi, home cinema, and headphones can be sure that a StereoNET Applause Award winner is worthy of your most serious attention.
