AVID Turntables, Amps, Arms and Carts at Richer Sounds

A landmark deal with Richer Sounds makes AVID's British-made hi-fi more accessible on the high street.
AVID has transformed the availability of its British-made hi-fi equipment in the UK following a landmark deal with retail giant Richer Sounds.
While the Cambridgeshire-based manufacturer might be best known amongst audiophiles for its distinctive high-end turntables, this deal should bring its more comprehensive portfolio, such as the Integra integrated amplifier, to a more significant number of UK hi-fi fans.
The deal makes it easier for music lovers to access and buy AVID's range of hand-made turntables, tonearms, and cartridges, plus precision-engineered amplifiers, loudspeakers, cables, and accessories.
Richer Sounds will offer all but AVID's top-line Reference range online via the retailer's website (or telesales) for delivery anywhere in mainland UK, including any of its 50 shops nationwide.
Additionally, several Richer Sounds stores, including Holborn, Manchester, Newcastle and Southampton, will demonstrate AVID's acclaimed British-made entry-level Ingenium Plug&Play turntable in-store. Plus, until 25 April 2024, Ingenium Plug&Play turntable buyers can receive a free AVID Platform (support platform worth £250) when using a voucher code.
Commenting on AVID's unprecedented UK availability via Richer Sounds, AVID founder, owner and Managing Director Conrad Mas told StereoNET:
AVID is designed and manufactured to deliver unparalleled audio performance, and we are confident that this collaboration will enable us to reach a wider audience and provide them with the opportunity to experience the exceptional quality and precision engineering that defines AVID products.
Music lovers buying AVID from Richer Sounds can also benefit from the retailer's rapid delivery, optional installation service, generous product warranties and after-sales service.

applause awards
Each time StereoNET reviews a product, it is considered for an Applause Award. Winning one marks it out as a design of great quality and distinction – a special product in its class, on the grounds of either performance, value for money, or usually both.
Applause Awards are personally issued by StereoNET’s global Editor-in-Chief, David Price – who has over three decades of experience reviewing hi-fi products at the highest level – after consulting with our senior editorial team. They are not automatically given with all reviews, nor can manufacturers purchase them.
The StereoNET editorial team includes some of the world’s most experienced and respected hi-fi journalists with a vast wealth of knowledge. Some have edited popular English language hi-fi magazines, and others have been senior contributors to famous audio journals stretching back to the late 1970s. And we also employ professional IT and home theatre specialists who work at the cutting edge of today’s technology.
We believe that no other online hi-fi and home cinema resource offers such expert knowledge, so when StereoNET gives an Applause Award, it is a trustworthy hallmark of quality. Receiving such an award is the prerequisite to becoming eligible for our annual Product of the Year awards, awarded only to the finest designs in their respective categories. Buyers of hi-fi, home cinema, and headphones can be sure that a StereoNET Applause Award winner is worthy of your most serious attention.
