Bang & Olufsen’s Beovision Harmony 65-inch TV has a Butterfly Effect

Yes, the Beovision Harmony folds away when not in use. There is a three-channel speaker system, housed in a choice of oak wood/aluminium, or a combined Grey Melange two-tone fabric/aluminium front that conceals the Harmony’s 65-inch LG OLED C9 television screen when not in use or just listening to music.

When you want to catch up on your boxsets, however,  the attractive wooden speaker panels fan out like butterfly wings while the screen raises to ideal viewing height.

With Beovision Harmony, we wanted to create a meaningful object for the interior that reduces the visual presence of the TV and transforms it into something that people develop an emotional attachment to.

The panel is from LG, and so sports LG’s webOS 4.5 smart apps, such as Netflix and Amazon, as well as AirPlay 2, Chromecast and Bluetooth.

Additionally, the built-in 7.1 surround sound decoder and B&O multi-room capabilities mean that you can connect up to eight of the company’s Beolab speakers for quite an impressive surround system.

All sources and connected devices can be controlled with the Beoremote One — a beautiful piece of technology that has been ergonomically designed and crafted from a single piece of extruded aluminium.

Beovision Harmony, including the LG OLED C9 65” TV optimised for Bang & Olufsen, is estimated to retail from $21,500 and is available to order in Australia and New Zealand now.
