First introduced in 2007, the Bowers & Wilkins Zeppelin is a storied speaker that received a redesign in 2021. Now, the company has released the second product in partnership with McLaren Automotive after the Px8 McLaren Edition, a new Zeppelin McLaren Edition that comes in a Galvanic Grey finish with Papaya Orange highlights that are inspired by McLaren’s design aesthetics.

Dan Shepherd, VP of Licensing & Partnerships for Bowers & Wilkins, told StereoNET:
I am thrilled to introduce the latest addition to our expanding product portfolio developed in collaboration with our partners at McLaren Automotive. The Zeppelin McLaren Edition joins the highly successful Px8 McLaren Edition, creating a uniquely appealing and innovative wireless product range that I’m sure will find eager buyers amongst both fans of McLaren and fans of Bowers & Wilkins alike.

The Zeppelin speaker is a complete single-box stereo system with drivers arranged in dedicated left and right speaker assemblies around a central subwoofer, powered by 240W of amplification. The speaker was also updated for a more modern listening experience, with support for AirPlay 2, aptX Adaptive Bluetooth streaming and more.

Additionally, Bowers & Wilkins is introducing wireless multi-room capability with the launch of the Zeppelin McLaren Edition. All compatible Zeppelins will be able to benefit from extended multi-room compatibility with the Panorama 3 and Formation wireless speakers.
There’s also a limited-production version of the Zeppelin created to celebrate the 60th anniversary of McLaren and Bruce McLaren’s legacy. There will be only 60 pieces of the Zeppelin McLaren 60th Anniversary Edition produced, with racing livery-inspired colours, a vibrant orange finish and a Speedy Kiwi on the rear of the speaker. The 60 units will be available exclusively from select McLaren dealerships worldwide.

Furthermore, Bowers & Wilkins has also announced a gorgeous new Royal Burgundy finish for the Px8 headphones, which continue to retail at £599/ €699.
The Zeppelin McLaren Edition is available now, priced at £799.
