DALI has pulled the wraps off VEGA, a premium all-in-one wireless audio system aiming to shake up the “single-box” category with genuine hi-fi credentials — and a design-first approach to match.

We’re told VEGA is the result of a five-year development program, with DALI conducting extensive research into how people actually use audio systems today. The conclusion? Listeners want simplicity, but not at the expense of performance.
The result is a product squarely aimed at those who want proper hi-fi sound— without the complexity traditionally associated with it.

“It has to be easy, but without compromising on quality,” says DALI Head of Product Management Krestian Pedersen. “We wanted to create a product that fits the way people live… something people want to keep turned on all the time.”
A One-Box System With Big Ambitions
VEGA isn’t just another wireless speaker — DALI says it’s engineered from the ground up as a true high-performance system. Inside the cabinet are ten custom-developed drivers, including ultra-light 25mm soft-dome tweeters with low-viscosity ferrofluid and enlarged rear chambers to reduce resonance.

Bass and midrange drivers are arranged in a back-to-back configuration, designed to cancel cabinet vibrations while improving clarity — a trick more commonly seen in high-end speaker design.
Power comes from 400 watts of amplification, split across eight discrete 50-watt channels, working alongside carefully tuned DSP and passive bass radiators to deliver what DALI claims is “class-leading low-frequency performance” from a single enclosure.
Adaptive Sound Tech
The headline innovation here is DALI Adaptive Stereo Enhancement (ASE)—a new, proprietary processing system (patent pending) designed to create a convincing stereo image from a single speaker.
Rather than simply widening the sound artificially, ASE is said to adapt in real time to incoming audio, aiming to produce a broader soundstage without introducing digital artefacts.

Complementing this is Adaptive Orientation Adjustment (AOA), which intelligently alters the speaker’s output depending on placement — whether it’s freestanding, wall-mounted, or rotated between portrait and landscape modes.
Designed For Your Home
DALI is clearly targeting design-conscious buyers, and VEGA looks to lean heavily into premium finishes and tactile details. Here you are treated to real wood veneer (Dark Oak or Natural Oak), anodised aluminium accents, and custom woven fabric grilles.

A standout feature is the precision-engineered volume wheel, combining glass, acrylic, and aluminium with an aerospace-grade ball-bearing mechanism for a smooth, weighted feel — a nod to traditional hi-fi tactility in a modern package.
The system is also built for flexibility, with configurable sound profiles to suit placement near walls or in corners — helping it adapt to everything from open-plan living rooms to compact spaces.

On the connectivity front, VEGA ticks all the right boxes for a modern all-in-one system. It features BluOS multiroom streaming, enabling high-resolution playback and integration with compatible devices across the home.
Streaming support includes Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, and Apple AirPlay 2, while connectivity is handled by Bluetooth, HDMI, optical, analogue, and USB audio inputs.

Five onboard preset buttons provide quick access to favourite content, while an intelligent rotating OLED display ensures usability regardless of orientation.
DALI will officially showcase VEGA at an exclusive media event in Vienna on June 4–5, 2026, with broader availability rolling out from September 2026 in selected markets, followed by additional regions in October and November.

The DALI VEGA is priced at £2,599 | €2,999 | A$4,499 | US$4,500
