The Emotiva RMC-1 is a flagship AV processor that supports full 4K UHD video, with high-speed video switching, in addition to the latest Dolby Atmos and DTS-X object-oriented surround sound formats - all for a real-world price.
The RMC-1 includes 16 fully balanced channels, an all-analogue preamplifier section, precision 32-bit AD/DA conversion, and an advanced 4K UHD video management system. Eight HDMI inputs and dual HDMI outputs support 2.0b and HDCP 2.2, ensuring theatre-like video quality from all 4K UHD HDR10 sources and equipment.
On the front fascia, a headphone socket allows private listening. An analogue 3.5mm jack and digital USB inputs cater for listening to music via personal music players and USB sticks. A centrally placed volume control keeps the fascia hassle free and easy to handle. The display shows the source and full spec of the audio and video of that source, as well as the surround mode.
The RMC-1 has been designed from the ground up to serve as the nerve centre of a modern home theatre or surround sound music system. The bit-perfect video switching of the latest HDR and Dolby Vision 4k UHD video content and support for the most recent object-oriented home theatre surround sound formats (including Dolby Atmos up to 9.1.6 and DTS:X up to 7.1.4). Additionally, the advanced audio decoding engine and audio processing hardware promises audiophile-grade sound quality.
Finally, Dirac Live room correction ensures perfect synergy between your RMC-1 and listening room.
The RMC-1 offers the full range of audio options, from native playback of DSD audio to pure analogue reproduction in the audiophile Reference Stereo mode, to full decoding of the latest object-oriented soundtracks.
