Eversolo Play, Z10 DAC, T8 Streaming Transport, Luxsin X9 Head-Amp/ DAC Munich Reveals

Eversolo is heading to High End Munich with its new Play series alongside a raft of new hi-fi separates.
Eversolo intends to continue its mission to "break audio boundaries and pursue excellence in sound quality" at High End Munich by unveiling the Eversolo Play all-in-one streaming amplifier that even has a CD-playing version. Furthermore, the new Eversolo Play series will be joined by new separates, including the T8 streaming transport, Luxsin X9 headphone amplifier and DAC, and the DAC-Z10.
Judging by images of the Eversolo Play CD Edition, which includes a built-in Hitachi-LG CD-ROM drive, the new Play series' aluminium alloy unibody is relatively compact, measuring only fractionally broader and deeper than the silver disc it spins. That said, this multi-functional desktop unit packs amplification, DAC, and streaming skills and a "professional grade" MM/MC phono stage for analogue audio lovers, making it an ideal hub for those who do not have too much space but still want to enjoy music.
Backing those hub aspirations is a comprehensive list of connectivity options on the rear panel such as trigger in, HDMI ARC, optical and coaxial in, sub out, phono in, USB 3.0 OTG for external storage, and a USB Audio Out for "reference-grade" Stereo DSD512 Native and PCM 768kHz/32-bit formats, delivering pure digital streams to flagship DACs.
The base comprises a "full-coverage heatsink", while its fascia hosts a vibrant 5.5-inch display. Eversolo says it has upgraded its UI based on the original interface design and user feedback, simplifying device controls into six dimensions: "Music Services, Functions, Apps, Connect, Cloud, and Settings", delivering a revolutionary music interaction experience.
The Play is equipped with an AK4493 DAC chip and is said to achieve an SNR ≥109dB (A-wt) and ultra-low THD of 0.0037%. The onboard Class D amplifier promises a respectable 60W output at 8Ω and 110W at 4Ω, which should drive most modern bookshelf speakers as seen with some Eversolo-branded units below.
Eversolo Play also features baked-in support for TIDAL and TIDAL Connect, Qobuz, TuneIn Radio, Deezer, Amazon Music, and more. Streaming flexibility is assured thanks to ROON Ready certification, UPnP, and WebDAV skills, which give you access to your music libraries on NAS or cloud storage. Furthermore, the Play boasts multi-room and room correction functionality.
Eversolo adds that Play "employs a self-developed library management system supporting multi-dimensional, highly flexible, cross-platform music data management." This looks to be a feature-rich UI that offers global search functions, enabling swift song retrieval from various sources.
Alongside the Eversolo play, Eversolo will debut multiple new products, including the flagship DAC-Z10, T8 streaming transport and Luxsin X9 headphone DAC/amp.
The DAC Z10 is touted as "a next-gen flagship hi-fi DAC engineered for uncompromising audiophiles." This starts at the dual-mono "AKM flagship DAC" configuration working with an oven-controlled crystal oscillator (OCXO) paired with a femtosecond-grade PLL system for "ultra-stable, low-jitter clock architecture." Meanwhile, the unit's IIS input supports PCM 32Bit/768kHz and DSD512 Native decoding. Also onboard is a Qualcomm QCC5125 chip enabling near-wired fidelity over wireless transmission while "triple bespoke toroidal transformers" establish dedicated power pathways that Eversolos states minimise cross-interference and electromagnetic noise.
The T8 Pure Transport boasts isolated outputs, including an SFP optical module, USB Audio, HDMI-IIS, Coaxial, Optical, AES, and EUB interfaces. It also has an "ultra-precision femtosecond-grade master clock" and promises to deliver bit-perfect digital signals to external DACs.
Finally, the Luxsin X9 is gunning for the role of a "benchmark all-in-one headphone DAC/amp/preamp thanks to AK4499EX + AK4191EQ DACs paired with 3rd-gen XMOS 316 processor for ultra-low distortion and noise floor for pure signal transmission, proprietary HP-EQ technology that's said to auto-adjust headphone frequency response to align with the Harman target curve, auto-impedance detection, cross-feedback circuitry, fully differential balanced design, and dynamic negative feedback.
We will certainly drop by Eversolo at High End Munich to check out its latest and greatest in Atrium 4.1, Room E123.
Eversolo Play will ship in May 2025 with the Standard Edition priced at €699 and the CD Edition at €799. Also landing in May is the Luxsin X9, which will sell for US$1,099. The T8 and Z10 are expected in Q4 2025, with pricing to follow.
We hope to get further pricing and spec details at the show, and we should have a 'first listen review' of the Eversolo Play with you shortly, so stay tuned.
