GOLD NOTE HIGH END MUNICH PREVIEWS ANNOUNCED

Gold Note will be previewing some new products at High End Munich, as well as exhibiting some of our favourite turntables and amplifiers.
High-end Italian Hi-Fi brand Gold Note will be bringing a choice array of products to the Munich audio fest.
Naturally, a number of their rather excellent turntables will be on display, from the flagship Mediterraneo to the very smart and compact "entry-level" Valore 425 Lite.
The upper-tier Italian turntables are easy to spot having a curved plinth made of Italian Walnut whereas the Valore Turntables sport a more traditional look. All you have to do is decide which finish suits your listening room best. Will it be classic black or white, the chic Italian Walnut or the stylish transparent acrylic?
Of course, showing you how to get the best from your Gold Note turntable, the external inductive power supply PST-10 and the company's multi-award-winning phono stage PH-10 will also be present.
Joining the turntables will be Gold Note's fully integrated amplifier, the IS-1000, that features a phono stage and DAC as well as network player and streamer skills.
IS-1000 is a Roon Ready device compatible with multi-room systems and with a quick plug and play installation. Just add speakers.
High End Munich Previews
Munich attendees will get to be the first to meet Gold Note's new products which will launch this summer.
Firstly, the latest evolution of the PH-10 phono stage, the PH-1000. We can expect high-end audio performance with the addition of three independent inputs and 12 EQ curves, adjustable Gain, Mono/Stereo option, capacitance adjustments and fine gain selection too.
The second product on preview is the new DS-10: an innovative DAC, Streamer, Analogue Preamp and Headphone amp, all in one compact source. Using proprietary technologies developed for the DS-1000 and IS-1000 Gold Note says that they "have created a unique unit that allows you to convert and stream your favourite music from almost any digital music collection or streaming service powered by the ultimate 32bit/768kHz AKM AK4493 D/A converter."
We are looking forward to experiencing the Gold Note display which can be found at Halle 4, Stand N10. See you in Munich!

applause awards
Each time StereoNET reviews a product, it is considered for an Applause Award. Winning one marks it out as a design of great quality and distinction – a special product in its class, on the grounds of either performance, value for money, or usually both.
Applause Awards are personally issued by StereoNET’s global Editor-in-Chief, David Price – who has over three decades of experience reviewing hi-fi products at the highest level – after consulting with our senior editorial team. They are not automatically given with all reviews, nor can manufacturers purchase them.
The StereoNET editorial team includes some of the world’s most experienced and respected hi-fi journalists with a vast wealth of knowledge. Some have edited popular English language hi-fi magazines, and others have been senior contributors to famous audio journals stretching back to the late 1970s. And we also employ professional IT and home theatre specialists who work at the cutting edge of today’s technology.
We believe that no other online hi-fi and home cinema resource offers such expert knowledge, so when StereoNET gives an Applause Award, it is a trustworthy hallmark of quality. Receiving such an award is the prerequisite to becoming eligible for our annual Product of the Year awards, awarded only to the finest designs in their respective categories. Buyers of hi-fi, home cinema, and headphones can be sure that a StereoNET Applause Award winner is worthy of your most serious attention.
