High End Show Vienna was initially scheduled for May 28-31 after announcing its move from its traditional home of Munich. An email sent by High End Society to exhibitors today announced that the show will now be postponed by one week.
The reason for this adjustment is the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC), which will take place in Austria in May 2026. This major event with round about 500,000 visitors is expected to significantly impact traffic, accommodation availability, and general accessibility. In order to ensure a smooth and successful trade show experience for you and our visitors, we have carefully reviewed the situation and decided to reschedule the event.
High End Vienna will now take place June 4-7, 2026.
According to organisers, the new timeframe "not only offers considerably better conditions for your stay, but also the added advantage that the opening day, 4 June 2026, coincides with Corpus Christi – a public holiday in Austria and several German states".
Within hours of the announcement that Austria's JJ won the Eurovision Song Contest, hotel accommodation in Vienna became unavailable. While the dates for Eurovision 2026 were not yet announced, the annual scheduling suggested it would likely clash with Vienna High End's previously announced May dates.

The logistics involved with coordinating the world's largest hi-fi show cannot be understated. We applaud High-End Society for acting swiftly and ensuring the most important show in our industry is back on track for June 2026.
