Kerr Acoustic K200 Standmount Loudspeakers Released
Kerr Acoustic K200 large standmount loudspeakers featuring new Volt woofer announced.
Kerr Acoustic's K200 standmount loudspeakers are the latest addition to the British independent brand's roster of domestic hi-fi speakers built with the demands of pro-audio at their heart.
Designed to deliver 'compromise-free' performance in a compact design, the three-way standmount loudspeaker measures 775mm x 310mm x 460mm (HxWxD) and weighs 43kg per side.
The K200 follows Kerr Acoustic's uncompromising choice of drivers, including a brand new 10-inch Radial bass driver from Dorset-based Volt, joined by a 3-inch, low-distortion domed fabric mid-range driver and a 60mm true ribbon tweeter crossing over at 370Hz | 3.6kHz - 2nd & 3rd order (12/18dB/octave).

We've been using Volt's 12-inch bass driver in our reference-level K100 model for some time now and have been staggered by its performance. So it's an honour to be the first manufacturer to bring this very special new driver into a commercial product.

Constructed from 24mm Baltic birch plywood, the K200 is bolstered by Kerr Acoustic's transmission line loading, resulting in exceptionally well-controlled and extended bass alongside a clear, uncoloured midrange.
The Kerr Acoustic K200 promises to perform excellently within its quoted 22Hz – 45kHz frequency range offering 91dB (2.83V/1m) sensitivity at a nominal 8 ohms impedance, no matter if you plan to use them in your mix / mastering studio or in your audiophile home system.
The Ker Acoustic K200 is available now in a range of real wood veneer finishes (£19,995), including Oak, Walnut and Rosenut, as well as either satin (£20,995) or high-gloss lacquer (£21,495) in any RAL colour. Custom stands are also available at £1,995 per pair.
