Linn Majik Exaktbox-I 8 Channel Amplifier

You can now easily upgrade your Linn system to Exakt technology while ensuring quality sound performance with power amplification. The Majik Exaktbox-I will transform your space into the perfect listening environment with this one-box upgrade which provides eight channels of the highest level of power amplification.
This versatile unit is integrated with Linn’s iconic Exakt Technology for the most direct connection, which removes any sources of noise and distortion that exist in the traditional analogue Hi-Fi chain.
All Linn systems have Space Optimisation built in which uses sophisticated acoustic modelling to build up a complete picture of how your speakers, their placement and the unique characteristics of the room interact to affect the sound you hear. It then precisely identifies frequencies that are artificially distorted by your environment, and reduces their energy, to reveal the music that would otherwise be hidden.
The Majik Exaktbox-I also goes further, providing listeners with Space Optimisation+. Not only can you personalise the placement of your speakers, but also improve the performance of the system drastically. Previously this technology was only available on systems $30,000 or more. Now this little box gives you this Space Optimisation+ technology and all the required amplifiers to drive Linn's entry level speakers.
With Its enhancing capabilities, you can pair it with any Exakt-compatible speaker to upgrade it to a 4-way system. The Majik Exaktbox-I offers a digital crossover along with 8x100w channels of amplification. Extra features include two Exakt link connections and Linn Dynamik power supply.
The Linn Majik Exaktbox-I is available now for $9,795 RRP.
Linn is distributed in Australia by Advance Audio.

applause awards
Each time StereoNET reviews a product, it is considered for an Applause Award. Winning one marks it out as a design of great quality and distinction – a special product in its class, on the grounds of either performance, value for money, or usually both.
Applause Awards are personally issued by StereoNET’s global Editor-in-Chief, David Price – who has over three decades of experience reviewing hi-fi products at the highest level – after consulting with our senior editorial team. They are not automatically given with all reviews, nor can manufacturers purchase them.
The StereoNET editorial team includes some of the world’s most experienced and respected hi-fi journalists with a vast wealth of knowledge. Some have edited popular English language hi-fi magazines, and others have been senior contributors to famous audio journals stretching back to the late 1970s. And we also employ professional IT and home theatre specialists who work at the cutting edge of today’s technology.
We believe that no other online hi-fi and home cinema resource offers such expert knowledge, so when StereoNET gives an Applause Award, it is a trustworthy hallmark of quality. Receiving such an award is the prerequisite to becoming eligible for our annual Product of the Year awards, awarded only to the finest designs in their respective categories. Buyers of hi-fi, home cinema, and headphones can be sure that a StereoNET Applause Award winner is worthy of your most serious attention.
