LINN SHOWCASED IN HARRODS CONCESSION

Linn has opened up a flagship hi-fi concession in Harrods.
The Glasgow-based hi-fi manufacturer has opened its brand new flagship concession in the newly redeveloped Technology Department of Harrods' iconic Knightsbridge store.
Gilad Tiefenbrun, Linn Managing Director, told StereoNET:
We're delighted to be opening a Linn concession in Harrods, one of the world's most famous and beloved department stores, celebrated for its unrivalled selection of prestigious brands.
Linn's new concession will host a range of products that offer the discerning Harrods customer something that only Linn can: music systems that deliver the very highest performance combined with an aesthetic that fits seamlessly in any home.
Linn's prominently placed concession in the high-end London corner shop offers a selection of the brand's high-performance music systems from Klimax to Kiko, as well as the iconic Sondek LP12.
The variety of available Linn sources and speaker models ensures there's something for every need and every stylistic taste.
Naturally, there's knowledgeable staff available to guide you through the product range. Additionally, demonstrations take place in a dedicated listening room.
Once you have made your decision, expert installers will ensure that the systems are set up perfectly. Furthermore, the bespoke application of Linn's Space Optimisation software is used to remove the unwanted distorting effects of the listening environment to give a performance that is uniquely optimised for each customer.
Operating alongside Linn's existing network of independent specialist retailers, the new concession will undoubtedly increase brand awareness by exposing Linn to a new audience.
The Linn concession is located in Harrods' Technology Department on the 5th floor and offers systems starting from £2,500.

applause awards
Each time StereoNET reviews a product, it is considered for an Applause Award. Winning one marks it out as a design of great quality and distinction – a special product in its class, on the grounds of either performance, value for money, or usually both.
Applause Awards are personally issued by StereoNET’s global Editor-in-Chief, David Price – who has over three decades of experience reviewing hi-fi products at the highest level – after consulting with our senior editorial team. They are not automatically given with all reviews, nor can manufacturers purchase them.
The StereoNET editorial team includes some of the world’s most experienced and respected hi-fi journalists with a vast wealth of knowledge. Some have edited popular English language hi-fi magazines, and others have been senior contributors to famous audio journals stretching back to the late 1970s. And we also employ professional IT and home theatre specialists who work at the cutting edge of today’s technology.
We believe that no other online hi-fi and home cinema resource offers such expert knowledge, so when StereoNET gives an Applause Award, it is a trustworthy hallmark of quality. Receiving such an award is the prerequisite to becoming eligible for our annual Product of the Year awards, awarded only to the finest designs in their respective categories. Buyers of hi-fi, home cinema, and headphones can be sure that a StereoNET Applause Award winner is worthy of your most serious attention.
