LINN’S 2019 MAJIK LP12 TURNTABLE

Buying a Linn turntable allows you to go on an analog journey, upgrading various aspects of the turntable as you desire and budget allows.
Modular by design, the entry level Majik LP12 has been the starting point for many vinyl enthusiasts, utilising carefully selected Linn-engineered components.
There was just one exception. Until now the Linn Sondek Majik LP12 leaned on fellow manufacturer Pro-Ject for the tonearm. Coming in February, Linn will ship the Majik LP12 with a Linn designed and Jelco manufactured tonearm.
In even better news for existing LP12 owners, it will also be available to purchase separately from June 2019 for those wishing to change from the Pro-Ject 9cc tonearm.
The Majik LP12 uses Linn's latest sandwich construction aluminium sub-chassis, an aluminium armboard, a patented single point bearing, and internal low noise power supply.
It is available in a choice of five finishes including Black Ash, Cherry, Walnut, Rosenut, and Oak.
The 2019 Majik LP12 with Linn tonearm will sell for £2,930.00 MSRP and comes fitted with Linn's Adikt MM cartridge.
The new Majik tonearm joins the Akito (£1,630 MSRP) and Ekos SE (£4,000 MSRP) flagship tonearm in the Linn tonearm range.
Like all Linn Sondek LP12 turntables, a range of accessories and upgrade items can be purchased separately ensuring that buying a Linn turntable, is an investment that will last a lifetime.

applause awards
Each time StereoNET reviews a product, it is considered for an Applause Award. Winning one marks it out as a design of great quality and distinction – a special product in its class, on the grounds of either performance, value for money, or usually both.
Applause Awards are personally issued by StereoNET’s global Editor-in-Chief, David Price – who has over three decades of experience reviewing hi-fi products at the highest level – after consulting with our senior editorial team. They are not automatically given with all reviews, nor can manufacturers purchase them.
The StereoNET editorial team includes some of the world’s most experienced and respected hi-fi journalists with a vast wealth of knowledge. Some have edited popular English language hi-fi magazines, and others have been senior contributors to famous audio journals stretching back to the late 1970s. And we also employ professional IT and home theatre specialists who work at the cutting edge of today’s technology.
We believe that no other online hi-fi and home cinema resource offers such expert knowledge, so when StereoNET gives an Applause Award, it is a trustworthy hallmark of quality. Receiving such an award is the prerequisite to becoming eligible for our annual Product of the Year awards, awarded only to the finest designs in their respective categories. Buyers of hi-fi, home cinema, and headphones can be sure that a StereoNET Applause Award winner is worthy of your most serious attention.
