Loewe Crafts Limited-Edition ‘inicio’ Speakers
New limited-edition loudspeakers debut as Loewe expands into high-end audio.
Following a successful appearance at High End Munich 2025, Loewe Technology has revealed two new limited-edition passive loudspeakers—the Loewe grand inicio and the Loewe inicio—marking a bold expansion of its high-fidelity audio portfolio.
Crafted for discerning music lovers, the grand inicio and its more compact sibling draw on Loewe’s century-long legacy of design and engineering excellence. The passive two-way speakers were developed around cutting-edge componentry, elegant materials, and meticulous build quality—qualities the German brand says make them as much objets d’art as sound systems.
The flagship Loewe grand inicio is a floor-standing bass-reflex design said to deliver deep, articulate bass, wide sound staging, and articulate vocal performance. A solid aluminium stand both stabilises the speaker and isolates it from room interference. At the same time, a cabinet finished in Fractal Walnut and accented with titanium details reinforces the speaker’s exclusive character.
By contrast, the Loewe inicio bookshelf speaker adopts a sealed enclosure and passive cones to deliver what Loewe describes as “precise sound with outstanding bass and finely nuanced dynamics” in a smaller footprint.
Both models are built around Purifi USHINDI drivers with Ultra-Low Distortion Technology and Air Motion Transformer tweeters with neodymium magnet systems. Loewe says the PermanentCore and NeutralSurround design architecture allows for pure, grain-free reproduction with striking detail and clarity across all media.
Other refinements include bi-wiring and bi-amping support, a lossless crossover design, and a magnetically attached front cover that can be removed for more direct, high-resolution listening.
While many high-end audio products aim to blend into interiors, Loewe is positioning the inicio range as bespoke, made-to-order design statements. Each pair is handcrafted in Kronach, Germany, and the brand has confirmed that both models will remain limited in production.
The Loewe grand inicio and Loewe inicio are available directly from Loewe and made to order, priced from £9,999 for the Loewe grand inicio, and from £4,999 for the Loewe inicio.
