Perhaps one of the most versatile speakers we've seen, the Vecta V240 is not only IP55 weatherproof rated meaning it can be used indoors or out, but it can also be wall or corner mounted.

According to Monitor Audio:

The stylish, compact and versatile Monitor Audio Vecta V240 loudspeaker intelligently combines aesthetics with innovation and high-quality professional audio performance that we are known for as a company,

Part of Monitor Audio's Custom Installation line, the Vecta V240 is versatile and easy to install thanks to its cleverly designed brackets and a single automatic connection system that allows for either horizontal or vertical mounting.

The mounting system also allows for tilting the speaker 25 degrees when it is attached to the wall bracket, or another 32.5 degrees (with the optional wedge) to ensure the best sound depending on the application.

The Vecta V240 features two 4-inch C-CAM cone drivers on the curved fascia providing a controlled sound field. A centrally mounted Gold C-CAM 25mm tweeter is horn-loaded to ensure a smooth and balanced frequency response.

The drivers are housed in a high-density, completely sealed ABS enclosure and mounted behind a stainless steel grille designed to withstand humid weather conditions.

The Vecta V240 loudspeaker has rated at a nominal impedance of four ohms and a frequency range stated as 70 Hz to 25 kHz. The sensitivity is 88 dB (1W / 1 m), and Monitor Audio recommends an amplifier between 25 and 100 watts.

Monitor Audio's Vecta V240 will be available in black or white from March and will sell for $685.00 RRP each. Brackets are sold separately for $61.00 RRP each.
