MOON BY SIMAUDIO MIND 2 GETS HIGHRESAUDIO INTEGRATION
You will soon be able to run HIGHRESAUDIO natively on your MOON by Simaudio MiND 2 player.
Simaudio has just announced its new partnership with premium high-resolution audio music streaming and download service, HIGHRESAUDIO.
We first heard HIGHRESAUDIO at the Windsor show last year and had the opportunity to chat with Lothar, the company’s MD.
German-based HIGHRESAUDIO is the first commercial music download service for audiophiles that only offers music recordings at a high-resolution audio standard of 24-bit.
HRA’s albums are all available at their native sampling rate of 44.1kHz up to 384kHz. Furthermore, you also get detailed album descriptions, biographies, reviews and artist-related content.
The HIGHRESAUDIO streaming music service will be integrated within MOON’s MiND 2 network players and the new MOON MiND Controller app (iOS and Android) which will be available to download from mid-May.
Dominique Poupart, Simaudio’s product manager, told StereoNET:
