NAD Electronics Announces Modular Series at ISE 2025

NAD Electronics is set to debut its innovative Modular Series at Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2025 in Barcelona, Spain.
If you’re going to the show, you can explore this new lineup at stand 2H700, where NAD promises to redefine custom installation audio with compact, efficient, and scalable solutions tailored for residential and commercial applications.
The Modular Series introduces three new products designed with a 1/3U width x 1U height form factor for streamlined rack efficiency:
- NAD CI S1 Single Zone Streamer: A versatile streamer for seamless music playback.
- NAD CI SA 2-120 BluOS Streaming Amplifier: A powerful amplifier with BluOS integration for high-resolution, multi-room streaming.
- NAD CI PA 4-60 4-Channel Power Amplifier: A robust, scalable power amplifier optimized for efficiency.
Built with custom integrators in mind, the Modular Series offers the flexibility needed for both new installations and retrofit projects. According to NAD, the series will be available starting in July 2025.
Peter Gibb, CI Product Manager at NAD Electronics, told StereoNET:
These products are the first step in a new ultra-compact, scalable platform designed specifically for the CI market. We approached this with a focus on rack efficiency and flexibility while delivering advanced features and the audio quality that you’d expect from NAD. The new Modular Series will give integrators the tools required to meet the latest demands of audio system design in any size or type of project.
As part of the BluOS ecosystem, the Modular Series offers high-resolution music streaming and multi-zone audio management through an intuitive interface. BluOS has become somewhat of a benchmark for stability and integration with leading control systems, making it the perfect foundation for NAD’s latest offerings.
Alongside the Modular Series launch, NAD is also introducing enhancements to its acclaimed CI DSP amplifier range, including the CI 8-150 DSP, CI 8-120 DSP, and CI 16-60 DSP.
These updates include:
- A redesigned, intuitive dashboard for real-time status monitoring.
- An improved Zones page with simplified channel grouping, zone-specific sleep functions, and global input flexibility.
- Advanced DSP features, such as limiters, delay, and phase control, for seamless subwoofer integration.
- Enhanced layout, faster boot-up times, improved power management, and expanded third-party API integration for remote monitoring.
By combining the Modular Series with the updated DSP amplifier range, it appears NAD is forging ahead with it's commitment to equipping integrators with the tools they need to deliver best-in-class audio experiences. The Modular Series will be available from authorised NAD dealers starting July 2025.

applause awards
Each time StereoNET reviews a product, it is considered for an Applause Award. Winning one marks it out as a design of great quality and distinction – a special product in its class, on the grounds of either performance, value for money, or usually both.
Applause Awards are personally issued by StereoNET’s global Editor-in-Chief, David Price – who has over three decades of experience reviewing hi-fi products at the highest level – after consulting with our senior editorial team. They are not automatically given with all reviews, nor can manufacturers purchase them.
The StereoNET editorial team includes some of the world’s most experienced and respected hi-fi journalists with a vast wealth of knowledge. Some have edited popular English language hi-fi magazines, and others have been senior contributors to famous audio journals stretching back to the late 1970s. And we also employ professional IT and home theatre specialists who work at the cutting edge of today’s technology.
We believe that no other online hi-fi and home cinema resource offers such expert knowledge, so when StereoNET gives an Applause Award, it is a trustworthy hallmark of quality. Receiving such an award is the prerequisite to becoming eligible for our annual Product of the Year awards, awarded only to the finest designs in their respective categories. Buyers of hi-fi, home cinema, and headphones can be sure that a StereoNET Applause Award winner is worthy of your most serious attention.
