Nintronics Gryphon Open Day

Gryphon Audio's Rune Skov will be on hand at Nintronics, Welwyn Garden City, during a three-system demo based around the Danish high-end hi-fi components.
Nintronics is hosting a Gryphon Audio Designs open day on Saturday, September 24th, to showcase and demonstrate the soon-to-be-available EOS 2 speakers for the first time in the UK.
First seen on static display at High End Munich, the EOS 2 is a two-way speaker comprising a 38mm Beryllium tweeter and a 175mm carbon laminated mid-bass unit. Furthermore, the EOS 2 sports an innovative front or rear porting arrangement alongside a novel toe-in optimisation switch on the rear panel.
Also making its presence felt is the recently released Commander Pre Amp and many other desirable Gryphon products with the Applause Award-winning Essence pre/power combo also being demonstrated.
Rune Skov, Gryphon Audio's Global Sales Director, is flying in from the company's head office in Denmark to talk about Gryphon's new products and to lead a discussion about all things Gryphon, which was founded back in 1985 by Flemming E Rasmussen.
Rune's presentation will commence at noon and last around an hour, including a Q&A session. This will then be followed by lunchtime snacks and drinks.
From 10.30am, three Gryphon-based systems will be demonstrated in Nintronics' dedicated listening rooms. These will be masterfully set up with Rune and the Nintronics team on hand to answer any of your questions.

applause awards
Each time StereoNET reviews a product, it is considered for an Applause Award. Winning one marks it out as a design of great quality and distinction – a special product in its class, on the grounds of either performance, value for money, or usually both.
Applause Awards are personally issued by StereoNET’s global Editor-in-Chief, David Price – who has over three decades of experience reviewing hi-fi products at the highest level – after consulting with our senior editorial team. They are not automatically given with all reviews, nor can manufacturers purchase them.
The StereoNET editorial team includes some of the world’s most experienced and respected hi-fi journalists with a vast wealth of knowledge. Some have edited popular English language hi-fi magazines, and others have been senior contributors to famous audio journals stretching back to the late 1970s. And we also employ professional IT and home theatre specialists who work at the cutting edge of today’s technology.
We believe that no other online hi-fi and home cinema resource offers such expert knowledge, so when StereoNET gives an Applause Award, it is a trustworthy hallmark of quality. Receiving such an award is the prerequisite to becoming eligible for our annual Product of the Year awards, awarded only to the finest designs in their respective categories. Buyers of hi-fi, home cinema, and headphones can be sure that a StereoNET Applause Award winner is worthy of your most serious attention.
