Announced during the High End Show in Munich, Qobuz Connect offers users app-based control and uninterrupted playback, eliminating the need for third-party integrations.

The company says Qobuz Connect makes it easier to enjoy studio-quality music by allowing direct control of playback from within the Qobuz app. Listeners can now operate supported hi-fi gear—whether at home or on the go—without juggling multiple remote controls or applications. Playback can be resumed seamlessly between devices, meaning users can switch from headphones to speakers without missing a beat.
Beyond device continuity, the new feature enables remote control across platforms. For instance, the desktop app can be operated from a mobile device and vice versa. This holistic approach to app synchronisation means users can also engage with Qobuz’s editorial content or curated playlists while streaming, all within a single interface.

Axel Destagnol, Chief Product Officer at Qobuz told StereoNET:
Qobuz Connect is a feature that has been eagerly awaited by our subscribers. We are proud to offer the most complete Connect solution on the market today, combining high resolution, app synchronisation and remote control.
At the heart of Qobuz Connect is a continued focus on audio fidelity. The platform currently offers access to more than 100 million tracks in high-resolution (24-bit, up to 192 kHz) and lossless CD-quality formats. Qobuz says the Connect feature preserves this sound quality across all devices, staying true to the brand’s audiophile roots.
Developed in partnership with StreamUnlimited Engineering—a tech provider trusted by many of the industry’s top audio brands—Qobuz Connect is already compatible with nearly 60 product lines, with more expected to follow. It’s available now on iOS, Android, Windows, and macOS platforms.

The rollout of Qobuz Connect further solidifies the platform’s position in the competitive hi-fi streaming space, offering listeners a seamless, high-quality, and app-native control experience that matches the demands of modern music consumption.
