Qobuz: Headline Sponsor of the Bristol Show 2023

The Bristol Hi-Fi Show 2023 kicks off on Friday, February 24th, with Qobuz, a headline sponsor who also announces Christian McBride as its new Artist-Approved Spokesperson.
Qobuz is celebrating 15 years of its high-quality music streaming and download service and, as one of the headline sponsors of the Bristol Hi-Fi Show, supports the UK's longest-running events for audio enthusiasts.
Qobuz gives subscribers access to more than 90 million Hi-Res and CD-quality tracks alongside exclusive editorial content written by a team of experts. Furthermore, Qobuz boasts that it's the only platform in the world to offer streamed and downloaded music in 24-Bit / up to 192 kHz.
If you're going to The Bristol Hi-Fi Show 2023, you get access to an extended, three-month free trial of Qobuz, allowing you to hear the difference for yourself. You also get the chance to win one of two Qobuz Studio annual subscriptions – worth £129.99 each – in the official show competition!

Qobuz has also announced that Grammy Award-winning jazz bassist Christian McBride joins as its new Artist-Approved Sound spokesperson.
Already a passionate Qobuz user, McBride will work closely with the platform to create specially curated playlists, videos, and other content in collaboration with Qobuz's acclaimed editorial team to highlight its unique subscriber offer and pioneering studio audio quality.
He follows Qobuz artist ambassador Wayne Coyne (The Flaming Lips), who became the first Artist-Approved Sound spokesperson for the brand in 2022.
McBride and Qobuz first teamed up in 2021 for the exclusive, made-for-Qobuz original EP, The Q Sessions.
Christian McBride told StereoNET:
I am so thrilled to be the current artist ambassador for Qobuz. It's such a joy to have a solid high-fidelity streaming service that truly cares about the music. Vive Qobuz!

applause awards
Each time StereoNET reviews a product, it is considered for an Applause Award. Winning one marks it out as a design of great quality and distinction – a special product in its class, on the grounds of either performance, value for money, or usually both.
Applause Awards are personally issued by StereoNET’s global Editor-in-Chief, David Price – who has over three decades of experience reviewing hi-fi products at the highest level – after consulting with our senior editorial team. They are not automatically given with all reviews, nor can manufacturers purchase them.
The StereoNET editorial team includes some of the world’s most experienced and respected hi-fi journalists with a vast wealth of knowledge. Some have edited popular English language hi-fi magazines, and others have been senior contributors to famous audio journals stretching back to the late 1970s. And we also employ professional IT and home theatre specialists who work at the cutting edge of today’s technology.
We believe that no other online hi-fi and home cinema resource offers such expert knowledge, so when StereoNET gives an Applause Award, it is a trustworthy hallmark of quality. Receiving such an award is the prerequisite to becoming eligible for our annual Product of the Year awards, awarded only to the finest designs in their respective categories. Buyers of hi-fi, home cinema, and headphones can be sure that a StereoNET Applause Award winner is worthy of your most serious attention.
